Hand Build a Vase with Mhari McBeath

Service Description

Sunday March 9th, 4:30pm - 7pm (2 +1/2 hours) Join us for an engaging workshop where you'll create a unique ceramic vase using the coil method. Guided by McBeath Designs, you'll craft a vase approximately 17cm tall, which will be high fired with a transparent glaze inside, making it watertight and ready for use. The exterior of your vase will remain unglazed, showcasing its natural cream colour. If you'd like to customize it further, you can add your own touch at home by painting the exterior with acrylic paints. Please note that, as we work with raw clay, your piece will require a drying period and two firings. Your finished vase will be ready for collection three weeks after the workshop from Second Home. This is the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill and create something truly personal. Don't miss out! No refunds or exchanges will be given with less than 48 hours notice of cancellation. Please note that there is a minimum booking threshold for this class of 6 participants.
